SOL-3 understands this special and, for some, unfamiliar transition between prenatal preparation to postpartum recovery. It can be a very overwhelming time of uncertainty, confusing, and variable when it comes to fitness and sport. The lack of resources and clarity encouraged Dr. Andrea Sun, PT, DPT, CSCS to co-author and contribute to a return to play protocol for prenatal/postpartum athletes for Gotham FC of the NWSL. We believe female athletes should be provided with appropriate resources and information to make the best decision for themselves as a woman, a mother, and an athlete.

Return to Running

  • Programming specific to return to running goals

  • Education of pelvic floor needs for running demands
